Bonn. Advertising cards are ideal ambassadors of information: Small, credit-card-sized, can be stored in the wallet and so they are always at hand. Printed shiny and colourful, they present the content wothly and – unlike the cards made of paper – always in the same quality. For companies where the sustainability of their advertising products is important, the NOVO GmbH, card prducer from Bonn, has issued the new series of BlueCards. The “Blue ones” are unlike the ordinary PVC cards completely biodegradable. They are based on a product that comes with the paper production in great quantities. BlueCards are according to the requirements of DIN EN 71, Part 3.
A big advantage is the bending strength of the innovative biologic cards that is about four times higher than the strength of PVC-cards. This speciality predestinates the BlueCards for the usage as ShoppingCards with integrated chip. The highlight: The customers don’t have to break the chip out of the card, they only have to bend it in the right position: No trash developing! Company informations and advertising slogans stay visible and don’t vanish in the shopping trolley. BlueCards are produced as injected moulded cards and can be printed in offset-full-colour print on both sides. But BlueCards can not only be used as Shopping cards, they can also be used as service cards, bonus cards, debit cards, club cards, warranty cards, membership cards and gift cards. When a BlueCard is once not longer useful, it can be cleaned up as environment-friendly as wood: through decaying or burning. There will be only set as much CO2 in the atmosphere as the plants have bound before.

Bonn. What is the difference between a book and a document binder? In a book, you can turn pages like you want, forwards, backwards, exactly like the reader wants. Smart: 2-step mechanics
The main substance of the NOVO Ring Binder classic: Two deep black hardened covers and a solid back made of steel. The movable back and the special, patented opening mechanism with electivly two, four or sixteen smoothly interwining bows allow a smart combination of the qualities of books and binders.
A slight tip on the button and the ring binder invites to turn the pages. That works identically well with every configuration, no matter if the documents are two, four, or even sixteen times perforated. Another tip, and the binder opens, ready for intake or exit of documents, from the left or the right side. Closing it is just as simple: Just lift the cover and close the binder without any annoying pageturning. Brilliant performance
The combination of two materials – steel for the 60mm broad back which is available in electively 10 different fascinating colors, varnished with brilliantly shining gloss paint and hardened paperboard for the deep black, covers – creates an elegant binder with comfortable handling. The all round-edge protection makes sure that no scratches come to the shelf the binder stands on. The NOVO Ring Binder classic looks good on the shelf and in the cupboard.The integrated, easily removable spine lable behind the transparent plexiglass window shows with style what the content of the binder is. The labelling is quickly done and you don’t have to paste over the old lable when the content changes. Also, the NOVO Ring Binder is stable and doesn’t wobble – nothing falls out. The well-placed grip hole guarantees easy taking.

Feb. 19th 2010: Sustainability instead of throw-away-binders: Plastic binder NOVO ERGO.
NOVO products are known for their durability. To fulfil the thoughts about the environment and the indulgent handling of our recources, NOVO has gained the new series of ERGO plastic binders to its offer in addition to the Ring Binders CLASSIC made of metal. ERGO is a plastic binder made of polypropylene (PP) which has the same brilliant and charming mechanics like the binder CLASSIC, which allows to turn pages in a binder like in a book. So you don’t need the annoying turning of single pages to find the right one or to close the binder. NOVO ERGO is optically apparent because of its fresh design, and it allows a clear and open organisation. The change of the spine label can be made without glue or chemical aid, the plastic binder can be imprinted and it is offered for 2 or 4 times perforated paper, sized A4, or A5 on request.The sustainability is confirmed by a 5-year-warranty on the product.

We produce effective PVC-cards, based on biodegradable plastic. These cards can be used like ordinary cards and their life duration is identical to the duration of normal PVC. They can degrade under special conditions in a time between six months and three years.
There will be nothing left of the once so beautiful card.
